Vetor Zero

Vetor Zero formed in São Paulo in 1988, drawing from post-punk and new wave. Their 1990 album 'Argumento' gave them a breakthrough, with the title track becoming a notable song. The band's lineup included Eduardo Marangoni on vocals and guitar, Fernando Dotti on bass, Luciano Alves on drums, and Marcelo Drummond on guitar.

They released several albums through the 1990s and 2000s, including 'A Sombra dos Dias' in 1992 and 'Pós-Moderno' in 1996. Other songs like 'Barbudo Do Abc' and 'Deixe Estar' appeared in their catalog. Their music sometimes touched on social themes, which occasionally drew attention from authorities during Brazil's political shifts.

By the late 2000s, they had put out records like 'Cinema' in 2008. Their sound stayed rooted in that São Paulo rock scene they came up in, with a straightforward, guitar-driven approach that avoided much polish.
