Vibes Official came together in Miami in the early 2000s. Their 2006 single "Poesia de Amor" became a breakout hit, mixing Latin rhythms with pop melodies. The song's success gave them a foothold, and they followed it with albums like "Vibes" in 2007 and "Amor y Pasión" in 2009.
They kept recording through the next decade, putting out "Sentimiento" in 2011, "Sueños" in 2013, and "Evolución" in 2015. Other songs like "Cartas" and "Deixa Eu Te Amar" became part of their catalog.
The collective included Mario "El Maya" Jiménez on lead vocals, Javier "El Chino" Rodríguez on bass, Juan "El Canario" González on drums, and Jorge "El Gordo" Pérez on guitar. They worked with artists like salsa singer Víctor Manuelle, pop singer Paulina Rubio, and rapper Pitbull.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
