Archive material and source history

Vicious Crusade formed in Los Angeles in the early 2000s. The original lineup included Ethan "Razor" Wade on vocals, Marcus "Strife" Reed on guitar, Jake "Bone" Harris on bass, and Eric "Fury" Thompson on drums. Their debut album, 'A Day to Feel Alive,' came out in 2006, with the title track becoming one of their better-known songs.

Their music pulled from heavy metal, thrash, and punk, with Wade's raw vocals and Reed's guitar work driving the sound. They released three more albums after that debut: 'Unleashed' in 2009, 'Ashes to Dust' in 2012, and 'Visions of Extinction' in 2016. Other tracks like 'Final Chapter' and 'My Cruel Mirror' show up in their catalog.

The band saw some lineup changes over time. Harris left in 2010 and was replaced by Ryan "Rage" King on bass. Thompson departed in 2014, with Mike "Hellfire" Hayes taking over on drums. Wade and Reed remained through those shifts.
