They put out three studio albums between 1997 and 2003, starting with the self-titled 'Ska Punk Girl' in 1997, followed by 'The Rebirth of Ska' in 2000 and 'Counterculture' in 2003.
Their sound pulled from ska and punk, with 'Ska Punk Girl' becoming their most recognizable track. The band's lyrics often dealt with social and political topics, which sometimes drew criticism. They went through some lineup changes in the early 2000s, including replacing their original drummer with Marc Levine.
