Victor Chaves and Leonardo Bortollotto, known as Victor e Leo, started performing together in the early 2000s. They grew up in Abre Campo, Minas Gerais, and began singing in church and at local events. In 2001, they signed with Universal Music, and their self-titled debut album came out two years later with the song 'Fada.'
Their music mixes sertanejo with pop, and they've worked with artists like Milton Nascimento and Ivete Sangalo. Some of their well-known songs include 'Borboletas,' 'Deus e Eu No Sertão,' and 'Amigo Apaixonado.' They put out albums like 'Ao Vivo em Uberlândia' in 2005 and 'Singela Forma de Viver' in 2012.
In 2018, Victor faced domestic violence accusations from his ex-wife, which led to him being dropped by his record label. The duo returned in 2021 with the album 'Irmãos.' They've kept performing together since then.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
