Victor Nogueira formed his band in 1998, bringing together musicians who shared his approach to blending Brazilian rhythms with rock and pop. Their debut album 'Dois' came out in 2002, and its lead single 'Queijos e Vinhos (O Rato)' became a national hit with its catchy melody and witty lyrics.
That song's success led to more albums and tours, with the band developing a reputation for original, humorous songwriting. Other tracks like 'Ano Novo' and 'Mundo Estranho' show their range. They've released seven studio albums through 2022, with titles simply numbered in Portuguese from 'Dois' to 'Oito'.
The band's lineup has included Victor Nogueira on vocals and guitar, Fábio Serra on drums, Marcus Baldini on bass, Bruno Prado on keyboards, and Pedro Miranda on guitar. In 2007 they faced a legal dispute with a record label, but continued recording and performing afterward.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
