Vidoll formed in 2002 as a Japanese rock band with a visual kei style, which often involves elaborate costumes and theatrical stage presence. Their debut album 'Illicit Love' came out in 2003, and they followed it with releases like 'Kuroyuri Syndrome' in 2004 and 'Futatsu no kodou to akai tsumi' in 2005. The band's lineup included Jisui on vocals, Ryouga on guitar, Aruto on bass, and Teru on drums.
Their music mixed rock and electronic elements, with songs such as 'Blue Star' and 'Gothikaroid' reflecting their range from melodic to heavier sounds. In 2007, Jisui left the band, and they brought in a new vocalist named Ram to continue performing and recording.
Vidoll announced a disbandment in 2013 amid some legal issues, but they got back together in 2015. They kept making music after that, with tracks like 'Cloud' and 'Boku, boku.' appearing in their catalog.
