Their debut album 'Hats Off to the Buskers' arrived in 1997 and became their breakthrough, with Falconer's vocals and the band's live energy driving its success. The single '5rebbeccas' became something of an anthem. They followed with albums like 'Cutting Edge' in 1999 and 'Napoleon Dynamite' in 2004, working across indie rock, pop, and folk sounds.
The band faced challenges including lineup changes and hiatuses, with Falconer's personal struggles and the group's political views sometimes drawing attention. They kept recording, putting out 'Seven Year Setlist' in 2012. Songs like 'Away', 'Claudia', and 'Comin' Down' show their range from energetic rock to more delicate material.
