Villa Ada Crew

Villa Ada Crew came together in Rome in the early 2000s, with Peppe Soks and Gianni Bismark at the core. They worked through the city's independent scene, playing local shows and developing their sound without much initial attention from the mainstream.

Their 2010 album "Anche Se Non Ci Sei" brought them wider notice. The title track, a ballad about love's persistence, connected with listeners and helped define their approach. Other songs like "Bom Bom Cylum" and "Erba Libera" show their range across hip-hop, soul, and reggae influences.

They've kept a fairly low profile as a collective, with Federico Morra joining on keyboards at times. Their music tends to focus on everyday urban experiences rather than grand statements.
