Vilson Santos is a Brazilian gospel singer from Bahia. He grew up with the regional sounds of forró and axé, and sang in local choirs before his music career began.
In the early 2000s, he worked with producer Jorge Camargo on the song "Eu Vou Testemunhar," which became popular across Brazil. Another track, "Receba a Tua Vitória," also appears among his better-known work.
He released several albums including Vitória in 2002, Eu Vou Testemunhar in 2003, and Deus É o Meu Refúgio in 2008. Around that time, there were some allegations about the latter song, though he denied them.
