Vincent Vallières started putting out solo records around 2002, after finishing music school. His first album, Chambre 12, came out in 2004 and got some attention for its lyrics. He followed it with Bordel de Mer in 2006.
A few years later, in 2009, he released Le Monde Tourne Fort. That album had a song called "Je Pars À Pied," which became his most well-known track. People connected with its story about setting out on foot and leaving things behind. Other songs like "On Va S'aimer Encore" and "À Hauteur D'homme" also show his style of writing.
He's kept making albums since then, including Le Repenti in 2012 and Fabriquer L'aube in 2016. His work is mostly his own, as a singer-songwriter from Quebec.
