Vinchenzo formed in the late 1990s as a quartet with Vincenzo De Luca on vocals and guitar, Marco Calone on guitar, Michele De Paola on bass, and Antonio Esposito on drums. They released their first album in 2000.
Their song "Camminare" became particularly well-known after its 2018 release. Other tracks like "Antar," "Benjamín," "Blu," and "Contigo" also appear among their most popular work.
In 2002, De Luca faced drug possession charges, which affected the band's public image. They put out their second album "Controcorrente" in 2004. Their lyrics sometimes addressed social issues, which drew criticism from various quarters.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
