Vingador formed in São Paulo in 2009 with Marcelo "Balta" Bortolato on vocals, Leandro "Léo" Vaz on guitar, Rodrigo "Rod" Lima on bass, and Rafael "Rafa" Carvalho on drums. They've released albums like "Pelas Ruas" in 2013, "Sangue Bomba" in 2016, "Mundo Barulhento" in 2018, and "Resistência" in 2021.
Their song "Dead Nazi Poem" became known for its anti-fascist lyrics, and other tracks like "Whata Fuck Is This?!" and "Tolerance" reflect their hardcore approach. A 2019 show in Germany was canceled after pressure from neo-Nazi activists.
Their music operates in a space where political statements meet aggressive sound, without much middle ground. They keep working in São Paulo's scene, putting out records that speak directly to their audience.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
