Vinicius Piaz is a Brazilian musician who started playing guitar in his early teens. He grew up in Brotas, São Paulo, and was influenced by Brazilian artists like Chico Buarque, Milton Nascimento, and Caetano Veloso.
In 2005, he wrote the song "Amarandá," which became his most recognizable work. That same year, he released his debut album, also called "Amarandá." Other songs of his include "Antítese," "Imaginária," and "Por Favor."
He put out more albums after that, including "Sinto Muito" in 2008. Some critics questioned the direction of his music, but he continued writing and recording.
