Virus was an Argentine rock band that formed in the early 1980s, led by Federico Moura. Their sound had a distinctive quality that set them apart from other groups at the time, with Federico handling vocals and keyboards while his brothers Marcelo and Julio played guitar and bass respectively. Enrique Symns was their drummer.
They released several albums including Wadu Wadu in 1981, Recrudece in 1982, and Relax in 1984. That same year they put out 'Luna de Miel En La Mano,' which became one of their most recognizable songs. Other tracks like 'Pronta Entrega' and 'Imágenes paganas' also found their way into the band's catalog.
Federico Moura died in 1988. The band continued for a while after that, releasing Tierra del Fuego in 1994. Their music, particularly songs like 'Luna de Miel En La Mano,' still gets played on Argentine radio stations and at clubs that feature 80s rock.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
