We left the earth

All good in time

Saturn V pushed up strong

At rocket speed

We broke through

The stratosphere

Gravity

Is now so light

While we continue

Our journey in silence

Touch the ground

For the first time

Open the lem’s door

Let’s start the Moon dance

From this corner of the universe

The earth is looking blue

Look at us touching this pale

Grey ball up here

For thousand of years

Distant untouchable

Now here we are

Fragile and small

Touching the stars

There’s no wind

And there’s no sky

And all the mountains

Are looking so damn high

Here the loneliness

Is screaming loud

The panorama is breathtaking though
