Vitohria Sounds is a Brazilian sacred music group that formed around four musicians: Vitohria Oliveira on vocals, Rúbia Pinho on guitar, Thiago Souza on bass, and Anderson Alves on drums. They released their debut album Águas Vivas in 2012, followed by Cura e Salvação in 2015 and Tempo de Louvor in 2018.
Their song 'Maranata/Lágrimas de Fogo' from the 2015 album became particularly well-known in Brazilian worship circles. Other tracks like 'Mostra-me Tua Face' featuring Marcos Vinicius, Bruno Alves and Samuel Mendes, and 'O Retorno do Rei' with Adlin Rodrigues show their collaborative approach within the genre.
Their music generally works within contemporary worship formats, with songs like 'O Céu Desce' and 'Eu Subirei' following similar patterns of devotional expression. The group has maintained a consistent presence in Brazilian sacred music without much fanfare beyond their core audience.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
