Vitor Rocha was born in Jequié, Bahia in 1983 and started singing in local churches. He released his first album, "Eu Sou o Caminho," in 2003. Songs like "Eu Vou Contar Uma História" and "Se Essa Lua" became popular in Brazilian gospel circles.
He put out several more albums over the next few years, including "Tudo É Possível" in 2005 and "Ao Vivo em Jequié" in 2010. His music tends to be straightforward and personal, drawing on everyday experiences of faith and relationships.
In 2011, he received a Troféu Promessas award. While he's maintained a steady presence in gospel music, his career hasn't followed a dramatic arc, just consistent work from his home region outward.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
