Viva Voce

Viva Voce formed in 2002 as a duo with Anita Robinson on vocals and Kevin Robinson handling multiple instruments and production. They released their debut EP 'The Heat' in 2004, followed by the album 'Forever Like That' in 2006. Their sound was often described as ethereal and introspective, built around Anita's vocals and Kevin's layered arrangements.

In 2008, the single 'Mixtape=Love' became their most recognizable track, gaining steady play on indie radio. Other songs like 'Believer' and 'Alive With Pleasure' followed a similar pattern of melodic, atmospheric pop. The duo took a break around 2010 when Anita pursued solo work, but they reunited a few years later and continued recording.

Their later releases included albums like 'The Last Two' and 'Euphoria', maintaining the core sound they'd established earlier. They remained a two-person operation, with Kevin handling most of the instrumentation and Anita's voice remaining central to the music.
