Von Iva was a band from Seattle. Their 2008 debut album shared its name with the song "All of Her Life She Has Wanted to Fly," which became their best-known track. The group included vocalist Iva Nova, guitarist Josh Henderson, drummer Toby Kuhn, and bassist Ryan Miller.
Their music blended indie rock with folk and electronic touches. After that first album, they put out two more records: "The World is My Oyster" in 2012 and "The Road to Nowhere" in 2016. Other songs in their catalog include "Birds of Prey," "Do It!," and "Electricity."
In 2011, the band faced plagiarism allegations, but they kept working. Their live shows were noted for Iva Nova's vocal presence and the band's energy on stage.
