Vosque Dagua is a Colombian band with four musicians who happen to be related: Luis Fernando Calles sings and plays guitar, Diego Fernando Calles handles percussion, Luis Ernesto Calles plays bass, and Gustavo Alfonso Pérez is on accordion and keyboards. Their music pulls from Colombian folk and Andean traditions, with some jazz and reggae touches mixed in.
They put out their first album, 'Armonizando,' in 2001. That record, and its title track, helped them reach listeners outside Colombia. They followed it with 'Espíritu de la Tierra' in 2004 and 'Meridiano 70' in 2009, which continued blending their traditional roots with other sounds.
Some of their other songs include 'Madrid,' 'Mi Verdad,' 'No Quisiera,' and 'Ol de Taim.'
