Archive material and source history
Vox (US) formed in Los Angeles around 2004, with Scott Wilk on vocals, Michael Carden on guitar, Darren Dodd on bass, and Josh Freese on drums. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2007, and the single 'Be Bigger' got some radio play. They put out a few more records after that, like 'Lungs' in 2009 and 'The Shadow' in 2011.
Freese left the band in 2012, and Dodd followed a few years later. Chris Johnson came in on bass, and Will Berman joined on drums by 2018. They've played shows with other bands, but the lineup changes and some public statements have been part of their story, too.
