Wacce

Wacce formed in Rio de Janeiro around 2001, with Fernando Badauí on guitar and vocals, Rodrigo Reis on bass, and Pedro Pelotas on drums. They started playing small venues with a raw rock sound that drew from hard rock and punk. Their song 'Bitch Me Ligando' became a national hit in Brazil, though its explicit lyrics about infidelity drew some criticism at the time.

They released their self-titled debut album in 2003, followed by 'Fúria' in 2006 and 'Nação Regueira' in 2008. Their music incorporated elements of reggae and funk alongside their rock foundation. Other songs like 'Chainz' and 'Snake' show their range within this hybrid style.
