Archive material and source history

Wait.Think.Fast started playing in Boston around 2005 with Sam Bair on guitar and vocals, Jesse St. Pierre on bass, and Matt Tacey on drums. They put out a debut EP called "Come Around" the next year, and the song "Look Alive" got some attention for its direct, personal feel.

By 2008, the lineup had shifted. St. Pierre left and Aaron Zuchowski took over on bass, then Tacey was replaced by Brian Donahue on drums. The band kept going with Bair, Zuchowski, and Donahue, releasing albums like "Young" in 2008, "The Cure" in 2010, "Recovery" in 2012, and "Between the Lines" in 2014.

Their lyrics often dealt with heavy subjects, which sometimes drew criticism along with the praise. The music stayed energetic and intense through those changes, but they never became a mainstream fixture.
