Wake Me formed in Los Angeles in 2015 with Justin Morales on vocals and guitar, Daniel Morales on drums, Jon Thurlow on bass, and Evan Doleac on keyboards. They put out their debut EP 'The Beginning' the next year, which included the song 'Are You Listening.' That track got some attention on alternative rock charts, giving the band a bit of a foothold.
In 2018, they released a self-titled full-length album, followed by 'Echoes of the Past' in 2020. The band took a break from touring in 2019 due to a legal issue with a former member, but they picked things back up afterward.
