Wallace Nunes came up in Rio de Janeiro, where he started singing early and got into the local scene. He was drawn to samba and funk, and by his teens he was already performing around town.
In 2019, he put out 'Ano da Virada,' a track that caught on quickly and got a lot of plays. The song's melody and his delivery seemed to connect with people, and it became his most recognized work.
After that, he released singles like 'Vai Ser Bom' and 'Me Ame Mais,' and in 2021 his first album, 'Caminhos,' came out. He works with a band that includes Rafael Machado on bass, Bruno Cardoso on drums, Felipe Melo on keyboards, and Thiago Oliveira on saxophone.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
