Hebben seer aansienlyc kwaet ghedaen.

Is thans haest niets meer over.

Deese kaale, dorre ende eentooniche vlacte,
Waerop slechts hier ende daer een bleecke boom,
Stuche struyc of verlaaten ven,
Weckte onghewilt een droevich ghevoel op,
En wert dus maer ontghonnen.
