War Hungry formed in Los Angeles in 2006, with Mike Murphy on vocals and Matt Lopez on guitar. They released their debut album 'Forever We Stand' in 2010, followed by 'The Awakening' in 2012. Their third album 'Of War and Wisdom' came out in 2014.
Their song 'Backbeat' became particularly well-known among their material. Other tracks like 'Beg And Plead,' 'Divine / Demonic,' 'Labors Of Hercules,' and 'Master Of Mankind' round out their catalog. The band's lineup included Mike Dunigan on guitar, Tim Markel on bass, and Jon Cutler on drums.
They released two more albums after 'Of War and Wisdom' - 'Blood for Blood' in 2017 and 'Shadow of the Beast' in 2020.
