Wasted Penguinz

Wasted Penguinz is a German electronic duo from Hamburg, formed in the early 2000s by Nicolas Bougaïeff and Johannes Boehm. They started by experimenting with different instruments and software, eventually developing a sound that blends ambient, trance, and electro elements. Early on, they chose to self-release their music rather than work with major labels, which gave them more control over their creative direction.

Their 2009 debut album "Melancholy" brought them wider attention, particularly the title track which became popular in electronic music circles.
