The man is evil

But he’s the evil you know

You gave him power

But it’s too much to hold

He’s got to have it all for himself

And methods don’t matter

Nor does anything else

I can use what doesn’t kill me

I can get what I need

I’m getting off on giving orders

And issuing decrees

But shotgun politics don’t work for sure

And it falls through his hands

As he reaches for more

They rise up form the gutters

Taking aim and grabbing hold

Nobody’s sinking down the rivers they’ve been sold

Desperation, escalation
