WC Produções formed in Rio de Janeiro in the late 1990s, started by Wilson Carlos and Claudio Mattos. They had trouble getting attention from labels and radio at first. Their song "O Seu Maior Desejo" became popular but also caused some trouble over its lyrics, which led to a legal fight they won.
They kept making music after that, putting out albums like "Deu Pra Ti" in 2000, "WC na Veia" in 2002, and "Festa do Amor" in 2004. The band included Wilson Carlos on vocals, Claudio Mattos on keyboards, Rodrigo Lopes on guitar, Rafael Nascimento on bass, and Marcelo Martins on drums. They worked together on songs that mixed samba, funk, and pop.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
