WD formed in São Paulo in 2013 with Lucas Silveira on vocals and guitar, Felipe Pelasgio on bass and vocals, and Pedro Lucas on drums. They put out their first album in 2014. The song 'Eu Sou' came out in 2017 and drew some criticism for its lyrics about gender identity and self-acceptance, which the band defended.
Their music includes songs like 'A Voz da Resistência' with Negra Li and 'Periferia.' They released albums called 'Coragem' in 2019 and 'Dentro da Minha Cabeça' in 2021, which dealt with themes like anxiety and depression.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
