A Boston band that made hook-driven songs about relationships and growing up.
If you want to hear what they did best, 'The Worst Thing About Me' and 'See You Around' frame it pretty cleanly. They're both sharp, a little frustrated, and built to stick.
Their songs like 'The Worst Thing About Me' and 'Kiss Me Again' had that direct, punchy energy that felt immediate. They pulled from pop-punk and alternative rock without getting stuck in one lane. 'See You Around' and 'Dreaming Out Loud' still sound like someone just worked out what they needed to say.
They formed in Boston around 2009 and put out 'Best Intentions' in 2011, then 'Weird Kids' in 2014 and 'Distance' in 2016. After that last album, they stepped back from regular touring and releases, though members kept working on other projects.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
