This is my swordsong for all swordsmen

drawn to meet each blow

May mettle versus metal

lay it down that no more blood shalt flow

Mighty knight in shiny armour,

brave and honour'd warrior,

reverent at the court before the

king, queen and the sorcerer,

- gests the jester made, by far outdaring thee

Face at last thy final battle,

one true worthy challenger

Break thy blade, kneel and unbonnet,

surrender to the Peacemaker,

- penitent, repentent with dignominy

A Nightmare's Dream - Phalanx

Of worries was my bed last night

not feather, down nor even straw

There grovled I in this dike of a dream

with a storm eye to eye in awe

Raged out of a weald came a

coach four-in-hand

Outrage to wield follow'd many a man

At the reins sat the devil grinning

- the ghastliest sight I saw

The prey never knew when

the hunters near drew

In for the kill, just for a thrill

Not much of a wolfpack,

rather like lice

More reminicent not

of man but mice

He can not think who can but fight

- Instinct hath kill'd conscience

To build is harder than tear down

- Mindless violence over sence

A Nightmare's Dream - Bellum

To terror my bed now was turn'd

not worries, ghast nor awe

as wide awake I stared at a nightmare

no dream ever saw

Less heart, twisted mind

'limbs of satan' there lined

Heartless they twist'd the limbs on mankind

Spill'd the guts of women and children,

- gorged upon the gore

An innocent victim judged by the kind

what is absent in mind

None be born evil but

some are taught well

and make others eat

what they were fed in hell

A beaten father beat his son

- and war rages in playground

Revenge, vendetta, holocaust
