They broke through in 1994 with 'Chocolate and Cheese.' That album included 'Drive Thru,' a song that captured their playful side. Their lyrics could be irreverent, which drew both fans and critics.
Over time, the band's lineup shifted, though Dean and Gene remained constant. They put out eight studio albums, including 'Pure Guava' in 1992 and 'Quebec' in 2003.
