Wesley Alessandro is a Brazilian gospel singer from Salvador, Bahia. He started writing songs about his faith when he was young, and his career began to take shape in the late 1990s.
His debut album came out in 1999, and a song from it called "Vale a Pena Confiar" became popular on gospel charts in Brazil. Other songs people know include "É Por Amor" and "Diante de Tua Face."
