Wesley Carreño was born in Venezuela in 1987. He started playing guitar early on, and in 2008 he formed a band with bassist Eliezer 'El Chuchu' Chacón and drummer Carlos Alberto 'El Negrito' Gómez.
Their debut album 'Entrega' came out in 2011. The title track became their most recognizable song. They followed it with 'La voz del pueblo' in 2015, 'Resonancia' in 2018, and 'Vida' in 2021.
There were some disputes and allegations along the way, but the core trio kept working together. Carreño handled vocals and composition while Chacón and Gómez stayed on bass and drums.
