Wetton Manzanera was a collaboration between bassist John Wetton and guitarist Phil Manzanera that began in 1986. Wetton had played with King Crimson and Asia, while Manzanera was known for his work in Roxy Music. Their self-titled debut album came out that same year, featuring songs like 'Do It Again' that got some radio play.
The music they made together had elements of progressive rock with atmospheric touches. They released two more albums, 'Endangered' in 1987 and another called 'Wetton/Manzanera' later on. The partnership didn't last long as a regular working unit, but it brought together two musicians with distinct backgrounds in British rock.
