Archive material and source history
White Hell formed in 2005 after a previous project fell apart. The band's early lineup included a vocalist who went by the name Lucifer, along with Suprematism on guitar and Necro on drums. Their sound drew from black and death metal, and they built a following in underground circles with a raw, heavy approach.
The song "Lucifer" drew particular attention from religious groups, who accused the band of blasphemy. White Hell didn't back down from those themes, sticking to their artistic stance even as criticism mounted.
They released their first album, "The Devil's Symphony," in 2007. Later records included "In Nomine Diaboli" in 2009, "The Cult of Lucifer" in 2011, and "Rites of Perdition" in 2013.
