White Tiger formed in Rio de Janeiro in 1995, with vocalist Leoni de Almeida and guitarist Tico Santa Cruz at the core. Their debut album 'A Noite da Serpente' came out in 1997, followed by 'Nação dos Homens' the next year. The band's lineup changed over time, with bassist Rafael Costa and drummer Márcio Resende joining later.
Their song 'Apesar de Tudo, Eu Ainda Amo Você' became particularly well-known. Other tracks like 'Bad Time Coming,' 'Live To Rock,' and 'Runaway' show their straightforward rock approach. They released several more albums including 'Simplesmente' in 2002 and 'O Terceiro Mundo' in 2005.
White Tiger kept recording through the 2000s, putting out 'Um Dia Não É o Outro' in 2008 and 'Em Busca do Sol' in 2011. Their music stayed within the Brazilian rock scene, with songs that often dealt with personal themes and straightforward rock arrangements.
