In My Dream

Last night I had the strangest dream

It felt so real that I remember everything

The moon was walking at my side

I looked up to heaven, saw it open wide

The stars pointed the way

They would not let me go astray

And when I tried to close my eyes

I saw the sun begin to rise

It all became so clear

That I am the only one

There is nothing else for me to fear

I could see the shadows in my mind

So I turned away and left them all behind

And suddenly I knew

The changes that I had been through

Now I know just what they mean

It was all there in my dream
