Whitney Duncan grew up in Nashville, born there in 1984. She put out her first album in 2008, which included the song "Skinny Dippin'." A few years later, she had surgery for a vocal cord polyp.
Her version of "All I Want For Christmas Is You" came out on a Christmas album in 2014. It did well on the charts and has stuck around as a holiday favorite. She also recorded "My World Is Over" with Kenny Rogers.
She made other albums like "So Right" in 2013 and "Renegade" in 2016. Some people weren't sure about her covering that Christmas song, but it's what a lot of listeners know her for now.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
