Archive material and source history
Widowmaker came out of Seattle in the late 1980s, with guitarist Jake "Razor" Williams and vocalist Scarlett "Siren" Jones at the center. Their debut album was called "Ashes to Ashes." The band's songs, like "Killing Time" and "Snot Nose Kid," had a raw, hard rock feel.
They put out a second album in 1992 titled "Echoes of the Past." The band went on hiatus for a few years in the mid-1990s before reuniting for shows in 2001. That year they released a third album, "Phoenix Rising." Later records included "Evolution" in 2005 and "Unbreakable" in 2010.
The lineup included bassist Marcus "Snake" Black and drummer Ethan "Thunder" Carter alongside Williams and Jones. Their catalog shows a band that worked through different periods, from the early Seattle scene to later returns.
