Archive material and source history
Wincore was a Portuguese band formed by Rui Bandeira on vocals, Hugo Pereira on guitar, Ricardo Gouveia on bass, and Pedro Ribeiro on drums. They released their debut album in 2008, followed by 'Mais' in 2010. That second album included 'A Minha Vida É Você,' which became their biggest hit.
In 2012, they put out a third album called 'Agora,' and later released 'Quatro' in 2016. Their sound shifted over time from straightforward pop-rock toward something more reflective, with songs like 'Além da Razão' and 'O Tempo' showing that turn. They also had a compilation album in 2014.
They took a break around 2014, which disappointed some fans. Their music, especially early hits like 'Foi Você' and 'Muito Mais Que Estranho,' remained popular in Portugal.
