WINDOH formed in London's Camden Town, with Anya Nova on vocals, Ethan Crane on guitar, Jake Walker on bass, and Ethan Carter on drums. They started playing in small clubs around the area, pulling from electronic dance music, post-punk, and experimental rock.
In 2019, they put out "Freaky," a single that got some attention for its hypnotic melody and Nova's vocals. The song became their most recognizable track. The following year, they dealt with a copyright lawsuit over a sample used in "Freaky," which they eventually won.
Their first album, "Ephemeral," came out in 2021.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
