Wisin is one half of Wisin & Yandel, a duo that started in Cayey and put out albums like 'Pa'l Mundo' in 2001. Their work opened doors for reggaeton's global reach, and you can hear that collaborative spirit in tracks like 'Fiel (remix)' with Jhay Cortez and Anuel AA. It's a sound that kept evolving even after they briefly split in 2013.
He and Yandel formed the duo in the late 1990s, releasing their debut 'Los Reyes del Nuevo Milenio' in 2000. They kept putting out albums together, announced a separation in 2013, and reunited five years later for 'Los Legendarios' in 2022.
