Witchbreed formed in Sweden in 2005, with members coming from other metal bands. Their debut album 'As Daylight Dies' came out in 2007 and drew some attention for its lyrics and imagery. They've kept releasing albums since then, including 'Resurgence' in 2010, 'The Shadow Symphony' in 2013, 'Unholy Prophecies' in 2016, and 'Book of Dreams' in 2019.
Their 2019 album 'Book of Dreams' gave its name to one of their songs, which became a fan favorite. Other tracks like 'Brotherhood Of Fang & Claw' and 'Medeusa (Angel of Pain)' show their style of heavy riffs and melodic elements. The current lineup includes Henrik Englund on vocals, Tomas Eriksson and Martin Andersson on guitars, Jonas Kjellgren on drums, and Tobias Jansson on bass.
