Wolfkin formed in 2003 around vocalist and guitarist Ethan Oxbow, with drummer Maya Crow and bassist Elijah Shadow. They put out their debut album 'Wolvesbane' in 2005, followed by 'Blood Moon' in 2007. The band's 2009 album 'Brand New Pants' included the song of the same name, which became their most recognizable track.
Their lyrics and performances sometimes drew criticism, but they kept playing until disbanding in 2015. Another song people remember is 'These Are All Illusions.' They released one more album, 'Ashes to Ashes,' in 2012.
