Worship Central

Worship Central started in 2009 as a group of musicians from Hillsong Church in London. They wanted to make worship music that could reach people outside of regular church services. Their first album was called 'God Is Great' and included the song 'Let It Be Known,' which became widely used in worship settings.

They've put out several albums since then, including 'Here I Am to Worship,' 'The Sound of Revival,' and 'Mercy.' Songs like 'Spirit Break Out' and 'The Way' have become part of contemporary worship music. The group works as a collective of musicians and songwriters rather than having fixed members.

Some people initially questioned their approach because it differed from Hillsong's more traditional worship style. But they kept making music that blended worship with accessible production. Their catalog includes straightforward worship songs alongside tracks like 'Can't Stop Your Love' and 'Counting On Your Name' that work in both church and personal listening contexts.
