The band Where the Story Ends formed in Los Angeles in 2016, originally with Daniel Rickard, Adam Pierce, and Joel Kanitz. They put out an EP called 'Our Roots Run Deep' that year, followed by another EP, 'Through the Fire.'
In 2018, Kanitz left the band. The group continued with Rickard and Pierce, adding Evan Kendrick and Sam Alba. Their song 'No Lullaby For Cowgirl Ft. Whale' came out around this time.
